Bucks commit Sammy Hynes for 2023-24 season

The Cranbrook Bucks (BCHL) are welcoming forward Sammy Hynes to the herd.

The 2006-born forward from Dunmore, Alberta joins the Bucks from the South Alberta Hockey Academy U18 Prep program from the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL), he posted 23 points through 31 games last season.

Bucks head coach Ryan Donald says the young forward possesses a dynamic skillset and describes Hynes as a hard-working player who plays with energy every shift.

“Our staff believes that he will have an impact at the BCHL level as he adjusts to the speed and pace of the game,” says Donald. “We are excited to have him in Cranbrook for the 2023-24 BCHL season.”

The Cranbrook Bucks wish to welcome Sammy to the organization and the City of Cranbrook.
