Bucks Add Western Michigan Committed Forward Theo Thrun

The Cranbrook Bucks (BCHL) are happy to announce that they have committed forward Theo Thrun for the 2021-2022 season.

Thrun played last season for the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL collecting 7 goals and 20 assists for 27 points through 47 games. From Grand Rapids, MI, Theo split time the year before between Lincoln of the USHL and Kenai River collecting 38 points in 40 games with the latter.  The 20 year old is committed to play Div 1 NCAA hockey with Western Michigan University after this season.

“Theo is a player that we feel is an excellent addition to our roster for this upcoming season.” Said Head Coach and GM Ryan Donald.  “He is an experienced player that will be able to provide us with offensive production as well as an ability to play in all situations.  We look forward to helping Theo finish preparing for his NCAA Division 1 career, and know he will be a strong addition to our community.”

The Cranbrook Bucks wish to welcome Theo to the organization and the City of Cranbrook.
