A new forward has arrived in the herd.
The Cranbrook Bucks are pleased to introduce Nick Capasso.
Capasso, a native of Northford, Connecticut, joins the Bucks after spending most of the season with the NAHL’s Colorado Grit.
The 2004-born forward put up 18 points through 37 games with the Grit this season before joining the Bucks on their recent road trip to Prince George.
Bucks coach Ryan Donald says Capasso brings a wealth of hockey-sense to his group of forwards.
“Nick is a player that our staff has been familiar with for a few years, and feel that he is a terrific addition to our team at this stage in the season,” says Donald.
“He is a player that plays an honest game, is highly competitive, and a terrific teammate. We are looking forward to giving him an opportunity to get the NCAA exposure that he is looking for at this stage in his career, and believe that he has the ability to impact the game on both sides of the puck.
His arrival comes amid recent departures of forwards Zion Green and Bobby Bartell.
The Cranbrook Bucks wish to welcome Nick to the team and the City of Cranbrook.
