Noah Urness commits to St. Cloud State University

The Cranbrook Bucks are pleased to announce forward Noah Urness has committed to the St. Cloud State University Huskies NCAA program.

Urness, in his first season with the Bucks, has made an immediate impact with the BCHL club with four points through his first four games.

The 2005-born forward is a native of Roseau, Minnesota, he split last season with Rosseau High of the USHS program where he served as captain as well as Team Sanford Power.

Bucks coach Ryan Donald says Urness’ commitment to a reputable NCAA program is well-deserved.

“We are happy to congratulate Noah on solidifying his NCAA future at St. Cloud,” says Donald. “Noah has been a pleasure to work with so far this season, and this opportunity is well deserved.  Our staff looks forward to working with Noah to further prepare him for NCAA hockey.”

The Minnesota-based program has seen several of its alumni go on to have successful NHL careers including Bret Hedican, Matt Cullen, Ryan Malone and many more.

The Cranbrook Bucks congratulate Noah on this tremendous achievement.
