With the Rogers BCHL Playoffs underway, the Bucks began their journey in West Kelowna this past weekend in hopes of stealing one of the two first games.
Friday night saw the Bucks jump out to a 2 goal lead in the first period thanks to defencemen Leyton Stewart and Cadel Gourlay. Kaslo Ferner added one more of his own in the second and capped it off with an empty netter to seal the deal and steal game 1.
Saturday night saw the Warriors tighten things up and the game remained 0-0 until the end of the 3rd period where West Kelowna was able to find a way past goaltender Josh Scully and even the series at 1 apiece. The Bucks look to carry that confidence into Western Financial Place to hopefully take a 2-1 lead on Tuesday night.
