Bucks Battling For 3rd Place in Division

With a Vernon loss on Friday night, the Bucks went into Saturdays game already having clinched a playoff spot and awards night was in full swing at Western Financial Place! Awards going to:

Defenceman of the Year: #25 Leyton Stewart

Scholastic Player of the Year: #25 Leyton Stewart

MVP: #11 Sam Lyne

Rookie of the Year: #14 Konstantin Hutzinger

Coaches Award: #23 Jack McMinn

Top Scorer: #10 Adam Csabi

Community Player: #20 Nathan Simm

Fan Favourite: #17 Kaslo Ferner

The Bucks played a good game against Sherwood Park but would ultimately lose in Overtime in a hard fought match. With 2 games left on the season, the Bucks still have a chance to catch the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and take away the 3rd seed in the division, which would match them up agains the Trail Smoke Eaters in round 1 of the BCHL Playoffs. If the Bucks remain in 4th Place, they will face the West Kelowna Warriors.
