The Bucks went into the weekend, looking to secure more points to try and catch the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for the 3rd spot in the division, and they ended up splitting the weekend.
On Friday night, the game turned into a shootout with both teams scoring 10 goals combined and action on both sides. Kaslo Ferner ended the game with 5 points and Goaltender Jason Tremblay was perfect on the 5 on 5, with the only goals being allowed on the penalty kill.
On Saturday it was the exact opposite with both teams only giving up 1 goal each until 16 minutes into the third where the Crusaders found the back of the net to edge the Bucks in a very close game. The Bucks will look to get their revenge as they host the Crusaders at Western Financial Place on the 21st for their last home game of the regular season.
