With a tight race for the last playoff spot in the interior west division, the Bucks needed a win on Saturday against Trail to keep their lead on the Vernon Vipers. It was a battle all night, with the Bucks missing multiple chances and the first and second period going scoreless on both sides. It was more of that in the third until Matthew Gilmore broke the silence and buried one top shelf from the slot. Trail answered back late in the third with a goal from Erik Pastro and Trail went on to win in overtime with a goal from Zach Coutu. Jason Tremblay played an amazing game, and the Bucks remain ahead of Vernon by 4 points after Saturday night.
