Bucks Heating Up Again

With the regular season slowly coming to a close, the Bucks are fighting for every win they can get, to secure a spot in the playoffs. And with 2 big wins this past weekend, they are putting themselves in a good position to do just that.

With the addition of Forward Gavin Jensen, the Bucks walked into Vikings Rental Centre on Friday and imposed their will against the Okotoks Oilers, winning 6-1, with goals from 5 different players and 4 goals in the 3rd period alone, securing the victory.

Saturday, the Bucks found themselves in a 3-0 hole after 20 minutes and things seemed bleak against the Brooks powerhouse. In the second the Bucks found their groove and then were able to tie it up in the 3rd period, leading the game to go to overtime. Captain Jack McMinn put the team on his back and willed his team to their second straight W with a game winning backhanded goal, sneaking past the Brooks goaltender. With 8 games left on the schedule, things are getting exciting for Cranbrook Bucks fans!
