Playoffs In Sight

The Bucks started things off on Wednesday night in Trail, where a competitive and close game turned into a 2-1 end result. The lone goal coming from Sammy Hynes, who gets his first of the year!

They also had another double header this past weekend, this time against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, who the Bucks are hoping to chase down in the playoff race as the season slowly winds down.

Friday night brought on the perfect storm with the Bucks winning 5-1, nearly playing a flawless game and showing fans, that they are a team to be reckoned with. Captain Jack McMinn scored 2 goals and the Bucks netted 3 power play goals en route to a dominant victory. Josh Scully had a stellar performance, stopping 21 of 22.

Saturday unfortunately looked like it was going to be a repeat of last weekend as the Bucks were outplayed in the first period and found themselves down 3-0. They rallied back with Mitch Patrick scoring 2 goals but ultimately fell short 4-2 on Faith Night, which despite the score, turned out to be a huge success, with over 1,800 fans at Western Financial Place!
