From Nelson to upstate New York.
Bryce Sookro has had quite the hockey journey through his young career, and the Cranbrook Bucks are pleased to report his journey will be continuing at the collegiate level.
The Nelson-born defenceman has announced his commitment to play NCAA Division 1 hockey with the Clarkson University Golden Knights in Potsdam, New York.
Several Clarkson alumni have moved on to successful professional hockey careers including Willie Mitchell, Craig Conroy, Erik Cole, Todd Marchant and many more.
Sookro is getting set for his third season with the Bucks, he joined the club’s leadership group last year as an assistant captain.
