The Cranbrook Bucks are laying out the welcome mat for the newest member of the herd.
The club has announced 2005-born defenceman Tanner Fennell has inked a commitment to the club for the 2024-25 season.
Fennell, a native of Gloucester, Ontario, spent last season with the Kemptville 73’s of the CCHL where he put up 29 points through 52 games.
Bucks coach Ryan Donald expects his new blueliner to make an impact upon his arrival to the club.
“Tanner is a player that we were able to track over the course of last season and thought he made big strides as a player, allowing him to earn an NCAA commitment,” Donald says. “We are excited to add Tanner to our team this fall and continue to help develop his game for the NCAA.”
The 5’11”, 185 lbs defender announced last season that he has committed to the University of Alaska Anchorage for his post-junior hockey career.
The Cranbrook Bucks wish to welcome Tanner to the club and to the City of Cranbrook.
