Safe to say Wednesday’s game in Vernon was a rough night at the office for the Cranbrook Bucks.
The Vipers were able to build an early lead in the first period and never looked back. Vernon held a 5-0 lead at first intermission.
The Bucks didn’t fare much better through the rest of the game, save for a two-goal performance from Jaxon Fuder.
Vernon kept the offense coming through the second and third periods, and managed to walk away with a 10-2 victory over Cranbrook.
Wednesday’s loss drops Cranbrook’s record to 3-10-1, the Bucks are on a five game losing streak. The Bucks outshot Vernon 36-35, their power play finished 0/2 and they went 1/2 on the penalty kill.
The Bucks continue their road trip Friday in Penticton versus the Vees.
