Bucks welcome NCAA-committed defenseman Brady Yakesh

The Cranbrook Bucks (BCHL) continue to build their roster ahead of the 2023-24 season with a new addition to their blueline.

The Bucks are pleased to welcome defenseman Brady Yakesh to the herd.

The 2003-born defender hails from Delano, Minnesota, he split last season between the USHL’s Sioux Falls Stampede and the Madison Capitols and combined for 15 points through 57 games with the two clubs.

Yakesh is also committed to play at the NCAA level with the University of Minnesota.

Bucks coach Ryan Donald expects Yakesh to make an immediate impact in the BCHL.

“He has shown in the past that he has the ability to create offensively while also being relied upon to play an important defensive role,” says Donald. “We are excited to have Brady join the Bucks, and look forward to helping him continue his development and preparation for NCAA hockey.”

The Cranbrook Bucks wish to welcome Brady to the organization and the City of Cranbrook.
