Bucks goaltender Nathan Airey commits to the University of Minnesota

Bucks longtime goaltender Nathan Airey has committed to the University of Minnesota. The hockey team representing the University is known as the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Airey has been with the team since the Pod season in 2020-21. In his BCHL career so far, the goaltender from Abbotsford has played 76 games, with a 36-29 record, while posting 2.76 goals against average, a .913 save percentage, and five shutouts.

This season, Airey has a 15-6 record (tied for sixth in BCHL with wins), 2.21 goals against average (second in BCHL), and a .935 save percentage (first in BCHL).

Airey is the 11th Buck with a commitment to a college/university.
