Nathan Airey was named the third star in the BCHL’s NAPA Auto Parts Three Stars of the Week.
“Thrilled for Nathan to get the recognition of being the third star of the week,” said head coach and general manager Ryan Donald. “Nathan has been a rock for us all year long, and gave us two great performances up in Prince George this weekend.”
In the three games this past week Airey won all three games and had a 1.67 goals against average while stopping 105 and 110 shots he faced, for a .955 save percentage.
“Those of us who get to see Nathan’s daily approach to his craft are not surprised by the consistency he shows in his game,” added Donald.
Airey’s record is now 11-6-1 on the season. His goals against average is sixth best in the league at 2.49, while his .927 is tied for third best in the league.
