Bucks Commit Forward Jaxon Fuder for the 2022-23 Season

The Cranbrook Bucks are excited to announce they have committed 2006 born forward Jaxon Fuder for the 2022-2023 season.

Fuder has spent most of this season with the U18 Prep West Van Academy in the CSSHL. Through 32 games with West Van this season, Fuder has put up 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points. The talented forward is no stranger to the Cranbrook Bucks, Fuder spent time with the BCHL club as an Affiliate Player this season – lacing up for two games versus the Vernon Vipers in mid-February.

Fuder grew up in Cold Lake, Alberta, where hockey was a way of life throughout his childhood.

“Hockey helped me make new friends, and gave me good experience and life skills,” says Fuder.

He looks forward to joining the Bucks roster full time next year after getting his first taste of BCHL action last month. Fuder says he hit it off with Bucks head coach Ryan Donald during his short stint with the club as an AP, and he expects to spur instant chemistry with next year’s crop of Cranbrook forwards.

“When I was out there getting to meet the guys, they were all amazing and made me feel like part of the team,” Fuder says.

He describes himself as a hard worker who brings a strong skillset. His off-season focus will be geared towards adding size while working on skating and shooting accuracy.

“Jaxon is a young man that we believe has a very bright future.” says Head Coach and GM Ryan Donald. “During his time as an affiliate he showed our staff that he has the ability to contribute in the BCHL next season, and more importantly the proper mindset and work ethic to grow in our program.  We look forward to having Jaxon join us for the 2022-2023 BCHL Season and helping him reach his goals athletically and academically.”

The Cranbrook Bucks look forward to welcoming Jaxon to the team and the City of Cranbrook.
