Bucks Trade Walker Gelbard to Langley

The Cranbrook Bucks have traded 2005 born forward Walker Gelbard to the Langley Rivermen in exchange for future considerations.

Gelbard was playing in his second season in the BCHL after joining the Bucks in the Pod Season last year as a 15-year-old. Walker has amassed 1 goal and 3 assist appearing in all but 2 of the 24 games played by the Bucks this season.

“The Cranbrook Bucks wish Walker nothing but the best in his future.” Said Head Coach and GM Ryan Donald. “As a Coach, Walker has been enjoyable to work with every day and to see the growth and development that he has made as a player and person. We will miss his enthusiasm at the rink, but wish him the best in his move closer to home.”
