GAME RECAP: Bucks Drop Friday Night Contest to the Penticton Vees

The Cranbrook Bucks were back in action against the Penticton Vees on Friday night, falling by a score of 5-1.

Penticton’s Ryan Upson opened the scoring halfway through the opening frame to give the Vees a 1-0 lead before Cranbrook’s Noah Leibl scored his 3rd goal of the season to even up the score. Tristan Amonte scored the lone goal of the 2nd period to give the Vees a 2-1 lead heading into the second intermission. Jacob Quillan added an insurance goal in the 3rd before Ben Wozney and Luc Wilson each scored to increase the Vees lead. Penticton would go on to win by a score of 5-1. Cranbrook’s Jay Thomson stopped 23/28 shots while Penticton’s Kaeden Lane stopped 25/26 shots.
