The Cranbrook Bucks (BCHL) are happy to announce that they have committed forward Kellan Hjartarson for the 2021-2022 season.

Hjartarson has spent the last 2 seasons with the Calgary Buffaloes of the AEHL U18 collecting 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points through 5 games while serving as an assistant captain this season and 19 points in 32 games last season. The 17-year-old Calgary native also spent the previous season with the CBHA Blackhawks U-16 collecting 58 points in 32 games.

“Kellan is a young man that we are excited to add to our program for the 2021-22 BCHL Season.” Said Head Coach and GM Ryan Donald.” Kellan represents a lot of what our organization prides itself upon, leadership, competitiveness, and work ethic. Beyond these qualities he is a player that fits our style of play very well, blending skill, speed, and hockey sense to create offense while being responsible defensively. We look forward to having Kellan join the Bucks and becoming a member of our community in Cranbrook.”

The Cranbrook Bucks wish to welcome Kellan to the organization and the City of Cranbrook.
